Rounded Edges Tutorial

Ever wondered how all those people get those rounded edges? Well, here is a simple guide on how to get that awesome effect!

This is the image that I chose to do for this tutorial:

The whole gang.

1. Open up your picture.

2. Make a new blank image the same size as the original image.

3. Go to your original image and choose Select All then Edit > Copy.

4. Go to the blank image and choose Edit > Paste.

5. Choose the rectangular marquee tool and select the area of the image you want to crop, make sure to leave a border around it.

6. Now go to Select > Inverse, then Select > Modify > Smooth, choose 2-6 pixels depending on how big your image is.

7. Then press the Delete key on your keyboard.

Optional:

To make a border around your image, right click on the layer > Blending Options > Stroke > Inside. Change the size and color of the border to your liking. We recommend changing the size of the border to 1 pixel and to change the color of the border to #000000, which works for most images and graphics.

This is what I got:

As you can see, this tutorial isn't too difficult, and can be used in any graphic..

Just don't steal that image unless you give us credit.
